ABOUT ME

For over 20 years, I’ve poured my heart into nonprofit work—building programs, raising up communities, and standing in the gap for those often overlooked. As the founder and longtime leader of the Centers of Wellness for Urban Women, I’ve seen firsthand the power of grassroots movements, policy change, and cultural connection in transforming lives.

My journey has always been rooted in purpose: helping others find wellness, strength, and community on their terms.

Climbing Culture Daily was born out of that same commitment—where culture, community, and connection meet. It’s a space for real conversations about the world we live in: from pop culture and social commentary to nonprofit leadership and community change. It's not just content—it's a collective climb.

It’s Only Mountains, my podcast, is the soul work. It’s a place to pause, to process, and to heal. Centered on the lived experiences of Black women in leadership and service, it’s about navigating the hard places and reclaiming joy along the way.

Whether you're starting a nonprofit, seeking clarity in your mission, or just looking for conversation that affirms and challenges, I’m glad you’re here. Let’s build, reflect, and rise—together.
